As mature student, and after many years working in management, I was privileged to study physiotherapy and graduate from Brunel University. Initially I worked for the NHS and following my core rotations I very quickly gained promotion, and started specialising in musculoskeletal pathologies and sports injury rehabilitation.
In 2009 I gained a qualification in Acupuncture for Physiotherapy, in 2010 I started and completed 6 modules of an MSc in sports rehab. For the next 7 years I combined and progressed these skills working with and supporting our servicemen in various locations around the world, as a specialist in musculoskeletal pathologies and sports injuries rehabilitation.
Since qualifying as a physiotherapist I have worked with various sports teams particularly in rugby, and with British Judo. One of my career highlights include being a LOCOG physiotherapist at the Rowing lake at the 2012 London Olympics.
I moved to Devon in 2017, I have taken on a substantial DIY project, and an extended family (Did I tell you I’m a new grandad!). As a former sportsman, I also try to find the time to cycle and row. I look forward to meeting you soon.
