SPORTS teacher Tammi Vukusic needed help in a hurry getting fit for a charity cycle ride, which is where AMS Physio came in.
Tammi, a teacher at Exeter College, was planning to take part in a 100km bike ride round Wiltshire to raise money for charity.
As a keen runner, hockey player and coach, Tammi’s overall fitness was pretty good. There was just one problem: a stiff neck was causing her problems when she got on her bike.
“Cycling is something I enjoy but I wasn’t used to doing 100km in a day,” said the mum of four who is in her mid-40s.
“I wanted to get round the route comfortably and went t see the team at AMS in Exeter.
“I only had two intensive sessions and was ready to get into the saddle.”
The ride started an Marlborough College and wound through the Vale of Lambourn.
So how did the ride go? For Tammi it was mission accomplished on all fronts.
“I got round fine and between us we raised around £65,000,” said Tammi.
The money raised went to the Brain Tumour Charity and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
