Mrs Catherine Tyrrell
I qualified from Nottingham School of Physiotherapy in 1991.
After doing my rotations I specialised in the field of Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy in 1994. I then went on to further my skills by undertaking the Manipulative Association of Physiotherapist’s Postgraduate qualification, which I completed in 2000. To achieve this qualification I undertook training weekends for a year, presented case studies and passed 3 examinations. As a result of this training I am very much a ‘hands on’ therapist. Techniques I use include Manipulation, Joint mobilisation, Myofascial release procedures and Core stability training.
When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my 2 young children and my hyperactive Labrador. I also play tennis weekly and attend a Pilates classes.
I joined AMS Physio in 2006.
Catherine works at Congresbury on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.
